JANUARY 18 - FEBRUARY 17
OPENING RECEPTION: JANUARY 18 | 5 - 8 PM
Main Gallery
"Dipped In Paint: A Painted Legacy" is a large solo exhibition by international multidisciplinary artist Vincent Keele. His work is characterized by its bold use of colors and rhythmic patterns that collide through thoughtful processes, allowing the viewer to find emotional connections along the way. This unique art show invites you to step into the vibrant world of abstraction and journey through the artist's perspective on building his pictorial legacy.
Vincent’s art allows for learning and conversational exploration by using a mix of expressionism and abstracted colorful flowing lines, a technique he calls, rhythm writing. This series aims to speak to our existence, bridging the gap between the aboriginal and the contemporary. "Dipped In Paint" explores the mind in motion and bridges fleeting thoughts with purposeful actions, and features never-before-seen artworks and sculptural pieces. Join us on this exploration of abstraction, emotion, and the rich journey of art that marks Vincent's painted legacy.

ARTISTS STATEMENT
Building The Legacy
"I aim to touch the viewers' souls with personal and public artworks, offering a break from stressful days through colorful and meaningful imagery. My art carefully uses colors that connect with the chakras, while the narratives seek to remind and educate those who engage with it. Art has always been my passion. My art is now recognized internationally, adorning homes, businesses, public spaces, and collections, filling me with gratitude and purpose.
My mother, a professional artist, inspired my love for art, and I aspired to be half the artist she was. My journey in the art world has been difficult, as I encountered rejections from galleries, hardships in art fairs, and constant critiques. The industry can be ruthless. Being self-taught and not from a prestigious art school, I faced discrimination, yet I remained true to my artistic vision.
Undervaluation of my creations and time invested has been an ongoing challenge in a world of extreme pricing and discounts. However, amidst the chaos, I find solace in my art, determined to build my pictorial legacy. Despite the tough journey, it has been deeply rewarding. My passion for art burns brighter in the face of challenges. I am committed to creating meaningful art that touches hearts and souls, defying the odds and leaving a lasting impact.
I embrace the chaos, for it fuels my determination to make a mark in the art world. The sheer idea of being an artist is a challenge in itself. There's so much you need to know and learn, you wear a lot of hats. Because there's so many things to do, self-management becomes a crucial skill. I have taken it upon myself as a personal challenge to be a great artist, not only improving my skills but also embracing the business of art and mentoring others who may lack confidence, skills, or the will to keep going."- Vincent Keele
