Northwest Designer Craftartists presents a survey of contemporary and traditional craft in America today created by members of NWDC and invited guest artists. All NWDC members are welcome to submit work to be selected by two esteemed jurors: Carol Sauvion, the Executive Director of the non-profit organization Craft in America and Sarah Traver, Director of Traver Gallery, Seattle.
This exhibition is an opportunity to celebrate excellence in craft and design, and to compare and contrast current and continuing trends in craftmaking. It promises to be a seminal exhibition marking today’s trends and tomorrow’s imaginings, bringing world-class craft artists to Washington. This is an opportunity for the public to learn and be inspired by the rich community of craft artists in the Northwest and across the country.

Join us for an engaging discussion with NWCraft24 jurors Carol Sauvion and Sarah Traver, alongside guest artists John de Wit, Mark Ditzler, Jane Pellicciotto, George Rodriguez, and Lisa Telford. The event will be moderated by NWDC Executive Director Daniel Wallace. Attendees will gain insight into the jurors' selection process and current trends in the craft world. Additionally, our guest artists will share their studio practices and discuss their journey back into the creative community post-pandemic.
