Get ready to bring your drawings to life in our Drawing for Animation 4-day summer camp! This camp will teach you the basics of animation, including how to show movement, emotion, and timing through drawing. You’ll learn how to create characters and scenes that move and express feelings.
Students will also explore zoetropes and flip books, two classic animation techniques that demonstrate how still images can appear to move. Additionally, they’ll dive into storyboarding, the process of planning out a story through pictures and timing.
By the end of the camp, you’ll have a storyboard, a series of animated drawings, and hands-on experience with animation techniques that bring your artwork to life.
All supplies are provided, but please bring lunch and join us for a fun, hands-on week of drawing and animation!
