Art in the Garden: Fused Geometric Plant Stakes

Location: Schack Art Center, Flame & Kiln Studio
These fused bright colorful contemporary garden plant stakes will add a splash of color to your yard and patio.
Students will learn basic fusing concepts and will have a chance to use frit, stringers and noodles, nuggets, pre-cut shapes and fiber paper. You will be given tips on design and layout to create your own unique geometric plant stakes.
You will get to make three fused geometric plant stakes 2"x 8" which will be attached to a 3 ft. metal rod.
Glass will be fired outside of class and ready for pick up at the Schack Art Center at a later date.
All supplies provided.
*Masks are optional in this class. Please wear closed toed shoes as well.
