Get your hands dirty and let your creativity soar as we dive into the world of clay!
We'll explore different types of clay, from air dry to cloud to playdough, and experiment with different techniques for sculpting and molding. This is a sensory art project where students will have fun squishing their hands in the clay and playing with different textures and colors. We'll talk about the different properties of clay, such as its ability to hold detail or its tendency to crack, and how we can use these properties to our advantage when creating our own unique works of art. We'll also learn about different methods for adding color and texture to our clay creations, such as painting or adding embellishments. By the end of the week, you'll have a collection of amazing clay creations to take home and display proudly. So come join us for a week of sensory fun, creativity, and play!
