Join our vibrant art class where you'll create Mexican Catrinas using paper mache, acrylics, and recycled materials! Catrinas are iconic figures in Mexican culture, originating from José Guadalupe Posada's illustrations. They are elegantly dressed skeleton figures, often adorned with elaborate hats and dresses, symbolizing the Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations.

In this class, you'll learn the traditional techniques of paper mache sculpting and acrylic painting to craft your own unique Catrinas. Explore the fusion of art and cultural heritage as you bring these whimsical and meaningful figures to life, adding a touch of Mexican folklore to your artistic repertoire.
