You will make a 2 3/4” x 24” fused glass panel to insert into a wrought iron garden stake that stands approximately 43” high. Class includes all supplies and the garden stake.

Students will learn basic fusing concepts and will decorate pre-cut ornament shapes with frit, stringers, noodles, and nuggets. We will also add some dichroic scrap pieces for some extra bling. You will get to create five ornaments that you decorate just like your cutout cookies at the holidays.

This introductory class provides a foundation for stained glass using the copper foil technique. We will cover designing projects for glass, the art of glass cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, finishing, and presentation. Students will select from 5 designs provided to create a copper foil panel.
Purchasing your own oil glass cutter from the instructor is recommended after trying the different styles. All other tools will be provided.
