Unleash your creativity in this fun, self-paced workshop where you’ll learn the art of block printing, starting with a simple bandana and progressing to a customized t-shirt! This hands-on experience is perfect for teens and adults who enjoy printing and want to explore a traditional art form with a modern twist.
Begin your journey by mastering the basics of block printing on bandanas. You’ll experiment with unique designs, learning how to create beautiful patterns using a hand-carved wooden block. Once you're comfortable with the technique, you'll move on to creating your own one-of-a-kind T-shirt that showcases your personal style.
This workshop is not just about creating wearable art; it's an opportunity to engage in a hands-on, tactile experience that fosters creative expression while connecting you to the rich cultural heritage of India. As you create, know that you are directly supporting artisans and helping sustain their traditional craft. Beyond t-shirts, the skills you acquire can be applied to a variety of projects, from crafting your own stationery and recycled wrapping paper to making greeting cards, party invitations, and more!
