Take your art to the next dimension by transforming flat artworks into stunning 3D sculptural forms!
This class introduces a range of techniques for manipulating paper, cardboard, and acrylic to create dimensional works of art. You'll start by exploring methods for developing color, pattern, and texture on paper using acrylic paints, mediums, and gels. From there, the instructor will demonstrate techniques for building surfaces, securing elements through gluing, stitching, and weaving, and stabilizing structures for display. Each participant will then apply these techniques to create unique sculptural samples.
Discover how to incorporate new methods, products, and tools to add dimension to your art—whether in 3D forms or within your flat work. Learn to utilize GOLDEN Acrylic products for creating striking textures and forms that expand your creative possibilities.
The workshop includes step-by-step demonstrations, hands-on experimentation, and personalized guidance. Artists will document each process and technique to create a reference for future projects. A class summary will also be provided to support continued exploration beyond the workshop.
